Vintage Electrical Celebrates 10,000 Orders With Shopify Milestones Award
Reaching 10,000 orders is a moment we are incredibly proud to celebrate.
Vintage Electrical recently received a Shopify Milestones award recognising our 10,000th order, achieved on 23 September 2025. For us, this award represents far more than a number. It reflects years of hard work, thousands of carefully packed parcels and the continued support of customers who share our appreciation for lighting and interiors with genuine character.
From restoring vintage lighting to 10,000 orders
Vintage Electrical was founded in Norfolk in 2015 by Steve Pattrick, a fully qualified electrician with more than 20 years of experience.
The business began by restoring original Coolicon and RLM factory shades recovered from warehouse removals. These early pieces inspired our Cawston and Filby collections and helped establish the industrial style for which Vintage Electrical is now known.
As demand grew, we began developing our own lighting designs, introducing new sizes, finishes and styles while staying true to the honest materials and timeless character of traditional industrial lighting.
Today, our collection has expanded to include statement lighting, handcrafted lampshades, solid-cast switches and sockets, furniture and distinctive interior accessories. From individual homeowners and interior designers to restaurants, hotels and internationally recognised brands, our products are now supplied to customers around the world.
Every order has played a part
Whether someone purchased a single light fitting for a renovation or selected lighting for an entire commercial project, every order has contributed to this achievement.
Behind each one is a dedicated team responsible for preparing products, checking components, answering questions and ensuring orders leave our Norfolk premises safely and securely.
Many of our products are handcrafted, assembled or finished by hand. This means no two pieces are always completely identical, particularly our raw brass, antique metal and aged finishes. These natural variations are part of what gives each product its individuality and lasting appeal.

Some have been with us from the early days, while others have only recently discovered Vintage Electrical. We are grateful for every purchase, recommendation, photograph, review and piece of feedback we have received along the way.

Looking towards the next milestone
Although the Shopify award celebrates what has already been achieved, it also represents the beginning of our next chapter.
