Returns & Refunds

If your purchase isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please read the guidance below before returning your items.

Our 28-Day Returns Policy

We offer refunds or exchanges on eligible unwanted items. Please email info@vintage-electrical.co.uk and send your items back within 28 days of delivery.

Under this policy, items must be unused, uninstalled, unaltered and in their original packaging, with all supplied parts included.

This policy is additional to your statutory rights, which are explained below.

Your Right to Cancel

For most online consumer purchases, you can cancel within 14 days after delivery. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

You may unpack and inspect items as you would in a shop. Where handling goes beyond what is necessary to inspect the product including installation, alteration or use we may make a lawful deduction reflecting any resulting loss in value.

How to Return an Item

Email info@vintage-electrical.co.uk with your order number and the items you wish to return or exchange.
Include your completed returns form in the parcel to help us identify your order. Package everything securely, using the original protective packaging.
Keep proof of postage. We recommend a tracked service.

For change of mind returns, you are responsible for return postage. Contact us before arranging the return of a faulty, damaged or incorrect item so we can help with the return arrangements.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please check your order on arrival and tell us about any damage, missing parts or incorrect items within 48 hours. Include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where possible.

Where goods are faulty or not as described, we will provide the remedy required by law and cover reasonable return costs. You have a 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a refund, with repair, replacement and other rights continuing afterwards.

Cut-to-Length Cable

Cable cut specifically to your individual measurements is excluded from change-of-mind returns where the legal exemption for bespoke goods applies.

Full 50-metre reels remain eligible under the applicable returns conditions. Your rights concerning faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are unaffected.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method.

For statutory cancellations, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the goods back once inspected by our returns team. 

For returns accepted under our 28-day policy, refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the goods. Original delivery charges are not refunded under our policy. 

Exchanges

Please tell us which replacement item you would like. Exchanges depend on availability. For change-of-mind exchanges, we will confirm any price difference and additional delivery charges before proceeding.
