At Vintage-Electrical Ltd we are committed to ensuring your shopping experience is hassle free. If you have had a change of heart and wish to return or exchange your item(s), please see the below policy criteria.

1.1 We offer customers the option to request a refund or exchange up to 28 days after the delivery date of your product(s). You must notify us via email at info@vintage-electrical.co.uk and send the product(s) back within 28 days of receiving delivery, together with our returns form. Unfortunately, returns or exchanges cannot be processed outside of this timeframe.

1.2 This Returns Policy is separate from, and does not affect, the legal 14-day consumer “cooling off” period. Please see our Sale of Goods T&C’s for more details. So, if you are a consumer, this Returns Policy only applies to returns sent back to us on days after receipt or if you don’t otherwise qualify under the 14-day cooling off rules as explained in our T&C’s. 

1.3 If you are a consumer, you also have certain legal rights if you purchase products which then turn out to be faulty. You can obtain further information about these legal rights by contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau (www.citizensadvice.org.uk) or call 03454 04 05 06). 

1.4 Inspection should always be made upon delivery; any damage MUST be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Any failure to report the damage within the 48 hour timeframe could result in the item being ineligible for return.

1.5 We’ll be happy to offer a refund or exchange if the product(s) provided are returned in their original condition; unused, not installed or altered in any way, in the original packaging and in a fully re-saleable condition. Please note, if the product(s) does not meet the above criteria we may reserve the right to reject a refund on the item(s).

1.6 To initiate your return or exchange, please ensure you complete and enclose in your return/exchange our Returns Request Form.

2. Refunds

2.1 Upon receipt of your product(s) we will:

2.2.1 Inspect the product(s) to check that they are in their original packaging and are suitable for resale. Should the products fail the inspection they will remain your property and you will be responsible for their collection.

2.2.2 Make any refund or store credit due to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days after the day on which we receive the product back from you, or after you inform us of your decision to cancel the order.

2.3 We will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay. If you used vouchers to pay for the product(s)we may refund you in vouchers.

2.4 Please note that any shipping fees paid by the customer are non-refundable by Vintage-Electrical Ltd.

3. Exchanges

3.1 We will happily replace or exchange your product(s) if they are defective or damaged. Please note defective item(s), damaged item(s), missing item(s), or wrongly sent item(s)must be reported within the 48 hours of delivery timeframe.

3.2 If your item is damaged or faulty and you would like a replacement product(s), please send photographs to the Vintage-Electrical Support Team at info@vintage-electrical.co.uk and we will endeavour to resolve the issue promptly and proceed with the exchange as soon as possible.

3.3 We hope that you love your products, but if you have had a change of heart, provided that you notify us within 14 days of receiving the product we will be happy to exchange.

3.4 Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your own delivery costs.

3.5. If it is impractical to offer a replacement product for any item that is damaged or faulty, we reserve the right to offer a repair, an allowance for a repair, or alternatively a refund for your purchase.
