I ordered two of these beautiful enamel light shades and was really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship even though they were described as seconds. Unfortunately, the colour wasn't quite right for my project, so I had to return them. The return process was straightforward, and the customer service was excellent throughout. This lampshade has over 90 years of product history & is an iconic British classic designed to last a lifetime, finished with the 'Benjamin Electric' badge of honour applied by hand.
Intended to be the task light of choice in 1930’s for craft factories, workshops & all skilled industries, the shade has been a true icon ever since & is perfect for all styles of interiors, including contemporary, vintage, farmhouse & loft.

Stunning looking light and very good quality.
We purchased the black XL shade and cable/bulb as a package for our kitchen dining area.
The cable and metal fittings are really nice quality, the Wago electrical fittings are a breeze to use and the cable easy to shorten with the grub screw at the ceiling rose so no cutting involved just curl excess up inside the rose.
The shade is beautifully made and has a nice weight to it and is lovely quality.
All arrived well packaged in a box and plenty of packing material. Highly recommended light especially if you want quality at what we think is a very good price.

the lampshades look good. The holes where the fitting has to go through are too big so that it does not fit together.
Unfortunately, in addition to shipping costs, I also had to pay import costs.

I bought the three pendant light fitting originally for my kitchen island and liked it so much that I ordered a second individual matching pendant to go over my dining table. I had looked everywhere for something a little different and found this company, the lights are a lovely deep shiny shade of black which matches my range cooker perfectly and throw out a good light. Very pleased with my purchase, don’t be put off by the ‘worn’ description as the pendant looks as good as the three pendant set version. Very well packaged with all fittings and fast delivery, also they were easy to put up by my electrician. Lovely vintage look.

The lampshade is as described: looks great in my hallway. The opening in the top allows for a bit more light out of these style of lamps.
I only ordered the lampshade and it did not come with a size adapter (very cheap and easy to find in any DIY). So be warned.
