Factory Second shades are fully usable but may show small cosmetic imperfections. These can include minor marks, blemishes or finish variations caused by the handcrafted coating process. Once installed, these marks are usually difficult to see at normal viewing distance.
The cool blue Cawston brings the character of traditional British factory lighting into kitchens, dining rooms, bars, restaurants and hallways.
Handcrafted to the classic 1933 design, the Coolicon lampshade features the distinctive slotted neck originally patented by Benjamin Electric of North London. Its cool blue outer and white inner finish creates a warm, atmospheric glow, while a hand-applied heritage badge completes its authentic period character.

These look great. Bought 2 as dining table lighting. Great fitment. No installation problems. A little expensive but I think worth it as a centre piece to a dining area.
We loved the lampshades - we ordered two types and returned one and ordered two more of the type we liked. We have not have any acknowledgement of the return despite sending several emails and contact forms. I am trying this to see if we can get the refund sorted. Order number was 4779.

Gorgeous. And exactly what I wanted. I teamed it with some planters which I intend to fill with artificial plants. It looks fantastic over our dining room table.
The paint easily scratches off so take care when fitting. Nothing a bit of gate paint won't touch up.

Having received the light i wasn't disappointed. I purchased it because of the Edison Vintage bulb as its this that makes it. Very sturdy and well put together. Looks great with the grey cord. Very pleased with it. Looks wicked in the man cave. Will def buy again.
